With festivals, everyone gets stuck in to put on a show that will leave you feeling blissful from the great kirtan (spiritual music), intrigued by the interactive discussions, overweight from the culinary delights and altogether mesmerised!

Senagetaway 2010 - The Kirtan Fiesta, New Vraja Mandala, Madrid

With over 100 youth each year, our Sena Getaway annual trips are not to be missed. We run riot in a different European city each summer, taking part in activities that will leave you gasping for breath.  A perfect balance is struck between having the opportunity to experience the culture of Krishna consciousness and engaging in outdoor pursuits.

With so many youth packed into the same location, the atmosphere is electric. Everyone that goes quickly makes many friends, thereby enhancing their experience.

People often wish to get away in the summer, hoping to disappear for a short while from the stresses and anxieties of everyday life whether it be school or work, which seem so periodical (routine). Yet on return, everything goes back to the way it was and those holidays or trips that brought about a sense of relief, transform intodistant memories of what once was.

Throughout the 8 or so days of the retreat, we reside on the grounds of some of the most spectacular temples established across Europe which are surrounded by scenes of natural beauty.

Every hour is jam packed with activities and every minuet is filled with explosions of excitement and adventure, from the ski slopes of Spain to the adventure parks in Germany, where one is able to create friendships and relations that will last a lifetime.

GUESS WHAT - THIS YEAR IS NO DIFFERENT - WE ARE DOING IT AGAIN AT THE NEW VRAJA MANDALA TEMPLE IN MADRID, SPAIN

Between: Saturday 7th August 2010 and Sunday 15h August 2010, 150 Youth will storm upon the New Vraja Mandala Temple in Madrid for a wonderful Festival of the Kirtan Fiesta.

The price of attending is: £319. This includes: flights, coach transfers, Accomodation, Prashadam, entrance to activites and Harinam.

During the 8 days we will be having some wonderful classes and workshops from HH Saciananda Swami and HH Yadhunandan Swami. There will be a massive Harinam in Madrid and a Holy Name Weekend full of ecstatic kirtan out in the Spanish Sunshine. Wait a minute - have you ever been skiing/snowboarding. We will be spending a day skiing at Xanadu skiing/snowboarding and Go Karting.

This is a great chance to just getaway from London/Home/Family and spend a 8 days away with Krishna and other devotees.
